Consists of segments of three newsreels. Part 1, Sec. of State Cordell Hull boards a ship for Buenos Aires, scene of the Pan American Peace Conference, 1936. Shows Franklin D. Roosevelt and his son, James, aboard the cruiser Indianapolis, which will take the President to the Conference. F.D.R. acknowledges congratulations for his election. Part 2, F.D.R. and party drive through Charleston, S.C., and board the Indianapolis. Shows the President's quarters. Part 3, F.D.R. campaigns at several localities and Alfred M. Landon addresses a Republican rally in Chicago.
